Nell has joined us straight after graduating from Drama Studio London in 2016. She represented DSL in the 2016 BBC Carleton Hobbs competition.
Since graduating, Nell has worked at The Cockpit, Theatre N16, The Rose Playhouse Bankside, Clapham Omnibus Theatre and The Park Theatre.
Nell recently played Jessica in Shakes-scene Shakespeare’s premier cue-script production of Merchant of Venice. She worked on emberfly theatre’s new writing and devising project, Heroines, inspired by Shakespeare’s canon of female characers at Theatre N16 and The Churchill Theatre, Bromley. Also for emberfly theatre, Nell took part in their 24 Hour Play Challenge, performing in Laura Shoebottom’s “Behind the Legend“.
Nell loves classical theatre pieces, especially reimaginings and retellings and is passionate about feminist theatre. She has experience in both classical work and new writing. She is also an accomplished mezzo-soprano singer with a powerful belt.
Before training at DSL, Nell spent three years at the University of Sheffield, studying Politics.
