Maeve has just completed filming on Christopher O’Donnell’s short films What About The Rent? and Before.
Maeve has studied improvisation with Chicago’s famous Second City, under Patti Stiles, and with The Spontanaeity Shop and Maria Peters. She was a founding member of one of the UK’s most successful long-form improvised comedy troupes, Upstairs Downton, and she regularly performs live improvised comedy with her troupe, LadyProv. She has performed new writing at London theatres including the Finborough and The Riverside Studies; and received excellent reveiws on the sell-out UK tour of The Perfect Murder, when she went on to play the female lead. She has also enjoyed devising immersive theatre in Central America and on the Lightship 93 on the Thames.
Maeve received a scholarship to the Arts Educational School, London. She also has a MA in Drama and Theatre Studies, and a BA in English, Sociology and Politics from the National University of Ireland, Galway. As a facilitator, Maeve has worked with the Shakespeare Schools Festival, Almeida Theatre Outreach, North London Schools Network, The Actors Company, Transport for London and Westminster’s award winning charity Dream Arts.
